Mongolian Black Granite:
Being volcanic, the veining and color vary considerably, and a small sample may not represent the whole slab...During the polishing process, a clear epoxy resin filler may be used to fill any micro fissure or tiny pitting; however, this does not affect the integrity of the stone. It merely provides an even smoother surface finish.
The main mineral components are cryptocrystalline plagioclase and pyroxene, and it also contains a small amount of volcanic glass. The particles are relatively fine, and the color of the board surface is black after polishing, but it has a little yellowish feeling, and the board surface also has some white spots.
