The J.L. Møllers Model 85 Side Chair was designed in 1981 by Niels Otto Moller. Since 1944, J. L. Moller has produced chairs of outstanding quality and timeless design. He built his first factory outside his hometown of Aarhus, Denmark. He designed and manufactured his dining room furniture collection for over forty years. Talented in all aspects of wood furniture design, his chairs are his most notable work. The J.L. Møller collection received international recognition and high accolades both during his lifetime and after his passing. To this day, production of the Møller chairs is still entirely carried out at this factory.
