ISO CERTIFICATION
Across its four factories in Norway and one in the US, Stressless proudly maintains ISO 14001:2015 Environment Management certification. This certification reflects Stressless' dedication to proficiently managing both the immediate and long-term environmental impacts of its products and processes.
FSC PEFC CERTIFICATION
Stressless adheres to a policy of exclusively sourcing FSC or PEFC certified wood, guaranteeing that all wood utilized in its production originates from sustainable sources. FSC certification signifies a commitment to responsible forest management, safeguarding delicate ecosystems, honoring indigenous cultures, and more. Meanwhile, PEFC certification affirms that the product is derived from forests managed sustainably and controlled sources.
LEATHER WORKING GROUP CERTIFICATION
Stressless is an active participant in the Leather Working Group, an international organization comprised of stakeholders throughout the leather supply chain. The group collaborates to advocate for environmental best practices in leather manufacturing and related industries. Stressless, as a proud member of LWG, remains dedicated to endorsing sustainable leather manufacturing practices worldwide.
UN GLOBAL COMPACT CERTIFICATION
Stressless participates in a voluntary project where the company commits to implementing ten principles in the areas of employees' rights, human rights, combating corruption, and sustainable production that prioritizes environmental protection.
Sustainable Production
